Wipro Limited has announced the acquisition of the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business from HARMAN, which is part of Samsung.
This acquisition will help Wipro strengthen its engineering research and development (ER&D) services.
As part of this agreement, more than 5,600 employees from DTS, including the leadership team, will join Wipro after the deal is completed. The acquisition requires approval from regulators and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2025.

The DTS unit has strong skills in digital engineering and ER&D, including specialized design and software platforms. By merging DTS’s personalized service approach with Wipro’s global scale and advanced technology, clients will benefit from both specialized services and the support of a large leader in the field.

As part of this acquisition, Wipro will establish a long-term strategic agreement with HARMAN and Samsung, further strengthening their relationship and opening up new avenues for growth and transformation. Once the acquisition is complete, DTS will be integrated into Wipro’s Engineering Global Business Line. Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. advised HARMAN during this transaction.
