Salesforce has announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Apromore, a company that specialises in process intelligence software.
With this acquisition, Salesforce will include Apromore’s expertise and tools directly into its platform. This is a major step to enhance Salesforce’s ability to automate business processes, helping customers see how their operations run in real-time across different departments.
The acquisition of Apromore will give Salesforce a broad range of tools for understanding and improving processes, which supports their vision of automating tasks more effectively.
Here are some key benefits:
1. Complete Process Visibility: Apromore offers a clear view of business processes across all systems and applications, including Salesforce. This helps avoid gaps in understanding operations.
2. Foundation for Automation: Apromore’s features will speed up Salesforce’s automation plans by mapping out business processes. This helps identify areas that can be improved through automation.
3. Measure and Improve: Apromore has tools for analyzing processes, simulating changes, and ensuring compliance. This will allow customers to track performance and test adjustments to enhance their operations continuously.
“Apromore gives businesses the visibility they need to see how they truly operate,” said Steve Fisher, the President and Chief Product Officer of Salesforce. “Integrating Apromore into Salesforce will help our customers find ways to measure, optimize, and automate their processes.”
“For more than ten years, we have aimed to make process intelligence accessible to everyone,” said Marcello La Rosa, CEO and Co-Founder of Apromore. “Joining Salesforce is an important step in this journey. Many of our existing customers already use Apromore with Salesforce, and now we can assist businesses worldwide in improving their operations on a larger scale.”
The acquisition is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2026, pending the usual final steps.
