Qatar Airways is working with Accenture to transform Qatar Airways into a digital-first airline by embedding artificial intelligence (AI) across its entire business, from passenger services to operational efficiency, through the initiative “AI Skyways.”
This partnership is designed to make the customer experience better, improve how the airline operates, and boost the overall performance of the airline group. AI Skyways will focus on providing useful AI projects for Qatar Airways by using responsible AI practices, managing data and platforms, and creating a value realization team that will measure the benefits of AI efforts.
This will speed up the use of AI solutions in various areas of aviation, such as improving flight schedules, enhancing maintenance predictions, and personalizing customer service.
Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, the Group CEO of Qatar Airways, said: “This partnership with Accenture to create AI Skyways is an important step for us to become leaders in AI in aviation. AI Skyways will use AI to improve many areas of our operations, from customer service to airline operations, so that passengers have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. The partnership will also use AI to analyze data in real time, improving how we make decisions and respond to situations.”
Julie Sweet, the Chair and CEO of Accenture, stated: “Together, Qatar Airways and Accenture are using innovative technologies and new ways of working to create better value for the airline and its customers. Our AI Skyways partnership is a big part of this goal, integrating AI to create fantastic travel experiences for passengers and providing greater value to the airline group.”
