thyssenkrupp Steering and L&T Technology Services (LTTS) have made a strategic agreement to open a new software development center in Pune, India. LTTS will set up and run this software center on behalf of thyssenkrupp Steering.
thyssenkrupp Steering has been developing steering systems for many years, and they have deep expertise in electrical and electronic systems and software. They are working on future projects, such as the Vehicle Motion Control system, which enhances driving comfort and safety, and supports advanced features for self-driving cars by integrating steering, brakes, drivetrain, and dampers.
Richard Hirschmann, who is the SVP of Research and Development at thyssenkrupp Steering, said, “We are excited to work with LTTS to improve our software abilities in India. This center will be very important for creating new and better steering solutions for our customers worldwide.”
