Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP (Deloitte India) has expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud. The firm will serve as a premier partner, reseller and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) for Google Cloud in India. The collaboration focuses on helping Indian enterprises and public sector organisations better manage cyber risks by combining Deloitte’s global security advisory experience with Google Cloud’s AI-driven security operations portfolio.
This partnership enables clients to gain access to the design and operation of next-generation Security Operations Centres (SOCs), seamless migration of legacy environments to the cloud, and the implementation of advanced “security-as-a-service” models.
The Deloitte and Google Cloud partnership focuses on the deployment and management of three core Google Cloud security solutions, among other capabilities:
Google Security Operations: This robust, cloud-native platform enables security teams to ingest, analze, and investigate petabytes of data.
Google Cloud Cybershield™: Designed to empower governments and critical infrastructure providers, this solution supports the creation of national or state-level cyber defense centers, ultimately enhancing situational awareness and cyber intelligence for public sector entities.
Google Threat Intelligence: By integrating insights from Mandiant, VirusTotal, and Google itself, this global threat intelligence platform equips Deloitte’s SOC teams to proactively identify, analyze, and neutralize threats before they can impact the client environment.
“Security is not an afterthought; it is the very bedrock of digital transformation,” affirms Sandeep Patil, Head of Security Partners & Managed Services, Google Cloud, Asia Pacific and Japan. “Our deepened collaboration with Deloitte India, as both a Premier Partner and MSSP, is instrumental in operationalizing our AI-first security platform for Indian enterprises. Together, we are democratizing access to nation-state-grade security across the region.”
