Cisco and G42, the UAE-based global leader in artificial intelligence, today announced a major expansion of their collaboration to advance secure AI infrastructure. Cisco will help G42 create and manage a large AI computer system using AMD’s new MI350X computer chips.
Cisco will power, connect, and secure a large-scale AI cluster deployed by G42, featuring AMD’s advanced MI350X GPUs. This system will use Cisco’s technology for computers, networks, security, storage, and tools to watch and analyze how the system works. This will help the UAE run very advanced AI programs safely and efficiently.
Cisco will also act as the technology integrator within G42’s Regulated Technology Environment (RTE). This is a set of special rules to protect the system and ensure only authorised users can access it. It also prevents people from using the system improperly.
