Bitzero, an ESG-focused provider of IT energy infrastructure and sustainable power generation for data centers, has announced funding of $25 million. This investment is an important step for Bitzero’s commitment to transforming cryptocurrency’s energy reputation.
The first part of this funding will be used to purchase 2,900 Bitmain S21 Pro miners. These are among the most advanced machines available, operating at an extremely efficient level of 15 joules per terahash. Bitzero plans to set up this new equipment within four to six months, which is expected to generate an additional $10 million in annual revenue and help the company further reduce its costs.
“Our goal has always been to show that Blockchain infrastructure can work well together with investors, communities, and the environment,” said Bitzero’s President and CEO, Mohammed Bakhashwain. “This new funding helps us continue our success, speed up the use of top-quality mining technology, and strengthen our leadership in sustainable and profitable data centers.”
