Bharti Airtel has announced a new partnership with Blinkit, a quick delivery service, to bring SIM cards right to your door in just ten minutes. This is a unique service from a telecom company, and it’s now available in 16 cities across India. More cities will be added soon.

In this initial phase, the SIM delivery service will be available in 16 major cities, including Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.

With this partnership, customers can get their SIM cards delivered to their homes quickly for a small fee of ₹49. Customers can easily activate the SIM card using an Aadhaar-based KYC method after getting the SIM card. They can choose either prepaid or postpaid plans, or even switch their number to Airtel from another network. To help with the process, there is an online link where customers can watch a video to assist with activation.

Airtel customers can use the Airtel Thanks App to access the help center. New customers can also contact support by calling 9810012345 if they need assistance. It’s important for customers to activate their SIM cards within 15 days of delivery to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Siddharth Sharma, CEO – Connected Homes and Director of Marketing at Bharti Airtel, said, “Our main goal at Airtel is to make life easier for our customers. We are excited to partner with Blinkit to deliver SIM cards to their homes in 16 cities, and we plan to expand to more cities soon.”

Albinder Dhindsa, Founder and CEO of Blinkit, said, “We want to help customers save time and avoid hassle. With our partnership with Airtel, we can deliver SIM cards directly to customers in selected cities in just 10 minutes. Blinkit handles the delivery, while Airtel makes it easy for customers to complete the self-KYC, activate their SIM, and choose their plans.”
