Accenture has acquired Intellera Consulting, Italy’s consultancy services provider. The terms of the agreement have not been revealed.
The acquisition, publicly announced on April 2, 2024, brings on board a team of 1,400 professionals from Intellera Consulting.
These individuals are renowned for their expertise in strategy, consulting, and technology for the public administration and healthcare sectors, further strengthening Accenture’s workforce.
Established in 2021 and backed by the Gyrus Capital fund, Intellera Consulting uses its vertical expertise in data and AI to help public sector organizations navigate digital, strategic, and organizational transformation processes, facilitating the use of EU funding, such as the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
With a multidisciplinary team based in offices in Rome and Milan, Intellera Consulting is working with the country’s healthcare providers to deploy more sustainable, agile, and inclusive systems.
The transaction—completed a few months after announcing the acquisitions of Customer Management IT and SirfinPA, both service providers to the public sector—marks a further step in implementing Accenture’s Italian growth strategy.
