Amazon Web Services (AWS) and HUMAIN have announced they will invest more than $5 billion to create a special “AI Zone” in the country. This new AI Zone will combine advanced technology, including AWS’s AI tools, powerful servers, and networks for faster AI training. It will use AWS services like SageMaker and Bedrock, and programs such as Amazon Q to help Saudi Arabia become a leader in AI technology.

Through this partnership, HUMAIN will create AI solutions using AWS technology for its customers. HUMAIN will also work with AWS to create a marketplace for AI agents, which will make it easier for the Saudi government to find and use AI software.
This collaboration aims to develop large AI models, including those that understand Arabic, and to promote the use of AI across various industries in the Gulf Region and beyond.
