Mitsubishi Motors Canada has announced a new AI-powered tool called the “Intelligent Companion” to improve the buying experience for the new Mitsubishi Outlander 2025.
The tool, “The Intelligent Companion,” was launched on March 5, 2025, and was developed with the help of WongDoody, a company that works with Infosys and IBM. It uses IBM’s smart technology to make the car-buying process easier and more engaging.
The “Intelligent Companion” offers a fun, interactive 3D guide to show buyers all the features of the Outlander. This makes it easier for customers to understand the car when making a purchase decision.
This technology allows users to explore the new 2025 Outlander in a virtual environment, showing the car’s features in an interactive way. Unlike regular brochures or voice chatbots.
Built using IBM’s tools, the “Intelligent Companion” can understand and respond to many different questions naturally. It has been tested with Canadian audiences to ensure it addresses specific needs, making it a useful and engaging resource.
A global team worked together to turn this idea into a working tool in just four weeks. With help from WongDoody and IBM, the project launched in just twelve weeks, showing how quickly and effectively they can create smart solutions for customers.
Steve Carter, Marketing Director, Mitsubishi Motors Canada: “The Intelligent Companion” represents a major leap forward in customer engagement, offering a tailored experience that highlights the best features of the Mitsubishi Outlander 2025.”
Ralf Gehrig, Global Chief Experience Officer, WongDoody: “Bringing this project to life at such speed and scale is a testament to the power of AI and global collaboration. With expertise from across the world, we combined technology and creative problem-solving to create something truly innovative in record time”.
