3M India has opened a new Electronics Customer Experience Centre in Bangalore. Dr Steven Vander Louw, President of 3M Display & Electronics Product Platforms from the USA, inaugurated the centre, along with other top leaders from 3M India. The inauguration took place on 31 October 2025.
The centre, located in Electronics City, Bangalore, is a modern facility where customers and partners can see and use 3M’s latest electronics technology.
The centre is designed as a hub for customers and partners to explore, co-develop, and test advanced electronic solutions, leveraging 3M’s materials-science capabilities and the Indian electronics manufacturing ecosystem. It covers key areas, such as conductivity, thermal management, and semiconductor bonding materials.
For electronics OEMs, device makers, and component suppliers in India, this provides local access to 3M’s global materials-science know‐how in a more applied, interactive way.
Dr Steven Vander Louw said at the opening, “India is quickly emerging as a global hub for electronics manufacturing. 3M is happy to be part of this progress. The new centre brings our science closer to customers and helps us solve problems faster and create better, long-lasting solutions for the industry.”
Mr Ramesh Ramadurai, head of 3M India, said, “India’s electronics industry is growing fast. There are many chances to work together and use new technology. The new centre will help the industry grow and let us work more closely with electronics companies by providing high-quality products that match what the market needs.”
